Divi Search Helper
Divi shipped a Search module with the basics. PAC's customers wanted live AJAX results, post-type filtering, and design control over the input and button. We extended the module in place and added 65 settings without forcing users to learn a new one.

Divi Search Helper extends the existing Divi Search module with design settings for the input field and button, advanced search criteria for post types and taxonomies, an upgraded search results page, and a customizable live AJAX results dropdown that fires as the user types.
Users can match against title, excerpt, content, meta, ACF fields, and WooCommerce data. Results order by date, alphabetical, or random. A decorative field icon, a clear-search-term icon, button icon and text options, custom no-results messages, pagination with custom text, and border and shadow settings round out the design tab.

Extends Divi's existing Search module rather than registering a new module. Settings are added directly into the module's design and content tabs, so users get the new options inside the interface they already know.
Live AJAX dropdown
Live results dropdown fires as the user types. The query targets the post types, taxonomies, and keyword fields configured per module instance, with custom no-results text and order-by rules.
Search criteria engine
Per-module rules for which post types and taxonomies to include, which keyword fields to match against (title, excerpt, content, meta, ACF, WooCommerce), and how to order results (date, alphabetical, random).
Dual builder support
One compatible file covers both Divi 4 and Divi 5. Settings and rendered output stay aligned across the PHP-rendered builder and the React-based Divi 5 builder.
